The 7th Annual Humber Ride4RealFood Is On!
Sunday September 10, 2017
What: Up to 35km bike ride
Where: Along the Humber River Recreational Trail (starting/ending at Etienne Brule Park near Old Mill Subway)
The Humber Ride4Real Food 2017 is the primary annual fundraiser for the Co-op Cred Program.
It all started in 2011 with 24 riders, but has quickly grown throughout the years. With 47 riders in 2016, we were able to raise over $37,000 for the Co-op Cred Program. Every $1,200 raised will support one Co-op Cred member with a full year's worth of free, healthy food!
Together, we can continue to make a difference in our community.
Our goal for this year's ride is $40,000 and we need your help to make it a success!
Imagine everyone having access to the food they need. Imagine a food system built on the idea of building communities. We have, and we are working on it.
Join us on Sunday, September 10 to raise funds for better food access for all! Riders will be rewarded with a picnic lunch courtesy of West End Food Co-op. Our partner, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) will also be hosting a Canada 150 celebration that will include family activities, food trucks, live entertainment and much more!
See you on Sunday, September 10!
