The 8th Annual Humber Ride4RealFood Is Almost Here!
Sunday June 24, 2018
What: Up to 35km bike ride
Where: Along the Humber River Recreational Trail (starting/ending at Etienne Brule Park near Old Mill Subway)
The Humber Ride4Real Food 2018 is the primary annual fundraiser for the Co-op Cred Program.
It all started in 2011 with 24 riders, but has quickly grown throughout the years. With 47 riders in 2016, we were able to raise over $37,000 for the Co-op Cred Program. With 50 riders in 2017 we raised $40,000.
Every $1,200 raised will support one Co-op Cred member with a full year's worth of free, healthy food!
Together, we can continue to make a difference in our community.
Our goal for this year's ride is $50,000 and we need your help to make it a success!
Imagine everyone having access to the food they need. Imagine a food system built on the idea of building communities. We have, and we are working on it.
Join us on Sunday, June 24 to raise funds for better food access for all! Riders will be rewarded with a picnic lunch courtesy of West End Food Co-op.
See you on Sunday,June 24!
